Did you ever have any luck getting the sleep issue sorted with Ubuntu? I’m keen to get this laptop but purely run Ubuntu x64 on it.

W stands for WHITE Light emitting diode; for the backlight

Huh? Im pretty sure it says WLED in the specs for Inspiron 13 on the dell site.
Comment by koko56 — May 29, 2010 @ 10:32 am
Windows 7 is the best. I’d never go back.
Comment by kinesis420 — May 29, 2010 @ 11:25 am
It doesn’t have WLED, the more expensive Inspiron 13z has WLED, as well as the new edition of the Inspiron 13 that is coming out, and is already out in Singapore/Malaysia/India – It has onboard radeon graphics and a WLED screen. Really expensive though.

I got my brand new with a 320 gig hard drive, and the same processor and 4 gigs of ram, but brand new for 700 from staples but it was 200 off so that explains it obviously
